At 20:14hrs on 29th August 1941 his Wellington Bomber X.9826 KO-D lifted from RAF Marham for a raid on Manheim. On its return it was shot down by an intruder and crashed at 02:12hrs on the 30th August 1941 near Martlesham Heath. |
